Accessibility Statement
Last updated: September 14, 2026
Nino's Mexican Grill wants this website to be usable by everyone, including people who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, or need larger text or higher contrast. We build toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA as our standard, and we review and fix issues on an ongoing basis.
What we’ve done
- A skip link lets keyboard users jump straight to the main content on every page.
- Every form field has a real, visible label, and form errors are announced to screen readers.
- Focus is visible when you tab through links, buttons, and form fields.
- Animations and motion effects are reduced automatically if your device asks for reduced motion.
- Images carry alt text that describes them, or are marked decorative when they carry no information of their own.
Known limitations
We know about the following gaps and are disclosing them rather than hiding them:
- Star-rating icons on review cards. The gold star icons shown next to guest reviews don’t yet meet our full color-contrast target against their light background (about 2.8:1, against a target of 3:1). The rating is always also available as text to screen readers (for example, “5 out of 5 stars”), so the information itself is never hidden, even where the visual contrast falls a little short.
- Gradient accent text. Part of the home page’s main heading uses our signature flame-color gradient text over a photo. In some lighting or zoom conditions, this decorative gradient portion may not meet our full contrast target against the photo behind it. The full sentence is still real text underneath, so screen readers read it normally; this only affects how easy that portion is to see for some low-vision users. We’ve kept our brand colors rather than changing them, since the same wording is fully readable elsewhere on the page in solid white text.
Let us know
If you use assistive technology and run into a barrier on this site, please tell us. Let us know which page you were on and what happened, and we’ll work to fix it.
